I’m starting an eco-project based on principles of energy transfer. It’s called Project Honeylight. I’m creating this podcast to explain Honey is Money - the Secrets of the Bees in terms of human systems and behaviors. The topics discussed on the podcast are being used to develop the BeeBox board game and the training modules for the BeeBox Regenerative Business System.
This project is inspired by Native American philosophies, taught by Tom Brown, Jr., at the Tracker School, the resource allocation models of Buckminster Fuller, and the universal truths taught by Carl Sagan. I’m combing these different perspectives into an eco-project that explains everything I know about everything that has been helpful to know.
Podcast overview:
I’m organizing this podcast to explain what I learned from observing honey bees from 2020 to 2023. The podcast describes “The Secrets of the Bees” through six domains:
Physics: luck, energy, life, time
Biology: variability, competition, seasonality, work
Psychology: teamwork, plan, specialize, communicate
Economics: planning, storage, buy time, near future
Anthropology: far future, optimize, cooperate, costs
Futurology: strategy, lifetime, solutions, act
Podcast Process: Preparation, Recording, Editing, Approval and Compensation (five hours of total time for four episodes)
Preparation: Prior to recording the four episodes, the subject matter experts and I will meet on a 60 minute Zoom call to script an outline and questions and answers.
Recording: Each episode of the podcast will take one hour to record. The timing of the recording is flexible. It would be best to plan for a total of five hours of recording over a one month period.
Editing: I will edit the recorded content down to 15-20 minutes.
Approval: The podcast guests will have the option to review the episode in advance of its release, provide input, and clarify any unclear points. The podcast episode will not be released until the guest approves the final content.
Compensation: The compensation includes one jar of the most inspirational honey in the world and good vibes.
