View fullsize I watched Carl Sagan on Cosmos in the early 1980s. I learned about space, time, and other cosmic ideas. This taught me the idea that we are on a rock, orbiting a star, traveling at 19 miles per second. We are all just passing through. View fullsize Buckminster Fuller taught me the concepts of optimal resource allocation, World Game, and modeling geometric structures. I also learned about the Great Pirates and people with advanced anticipatory, situational, and navigational abilities. View fullsize Tom Brown, Jr. taught me Native American skills and philosophy. This is where I learned to plan for the eventual death of my children's, children's, children. View fullsize Energy from the sun is converted into life, cognition, and consciousness.
